Meet Jesus

It's the most amazing and important decision you can make, it will change your life for eternity and allow you to enter into abundant life both here on earth and later in Heaven.

God loves us and we were created to know him.

1 The plan of God, peace and life – God loves you and wants you to experience peace and an abundant, eternal life. 

« Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. » 

Romans 5 :1 

(Jesus said) : « I came to give life and life to the full. »  

John 10 :10 

« For God so loved the world that he sent his only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. » 

John 3 :16 

SO THEN WHY HAVEN'T THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE GOT THIS PEACE AND ABUNDANT LIFE OFFERED BY GOD ? 

2 The problem, our separation – God created us in his image so that we would have an abundant life. He has not created us like robots to love and obey him automatically but instead God has given us freedom and the will to choose. We have chosen to disobey and follow our own path and this leads to separation from God.

« For all have sinned and fallen short of God's glorious standard. » 

Romans 3 :23 

« For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord . » 

Romans 6 :23 

Our attempt to reach God. People have tried many methods to fill in the gap between God and themselves. 

« There is a path before each person which seems right, but it ends in death. » 

Proverbs 14 :12 

THE ONLY THING THAT CAN UNITE US WITH GOD IS… 

3 The cross: the bridge that draws us toward God, it is the cross. Jesus died on the cross and rose again. He has paid the price for our sins and has closed the gap which separates us from God. 

« Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. » 

1 P3 :18 

« For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity – the man Jesus ! » 

1 Timothy 2 :5 

« But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. » 

Romans 5 :8 

GOD HAS OFFERED ONE WAY AND ONE PATH. EVERYONE MUST MAKE THEIR OWN CHOICE ! 

4 Our response : Receving Christ. We must accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour by inviting him personally into our life. 

« But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. » 

John 1 :12 

« If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and if you believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. » 

Romans 10 :9 

AND YOU ? WHERE DO YOU STAND ? 

WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE JESUS-CHRIST NOW ? 

Here is how to receive JESUS-CHRIST : 

1. Recognise your need (I am a sinner).
2. Be ready to abandon your sins (repent). 
3. Believe that Jesus-Christ died for you on the cross and that God resurrected him. 
4. Through prayer, invite JESUS-CHRIST into your life and ask him to take control of it by the Holy-spirit. (receive him as Lord and Saviour).
5. The prayer : "Lord Jesus-Christ, I come to you as I am, I admit that I am a sinner and that I need you. I confess that you are Lord, that you died for me at the cross, I believe that you rose from the dead. I invite you into my life, I renounce this world, save me and take control of my destiny. I accept Jesus-Christ! I am saved! Thank you Lord. Amen"
